His best show was when he went on for 4 hours about how this was his last show in radio and that he was retiring - he did these with his typical train-of-consciousness rambling over new age music (which he did a lot at KOOL) . On his last break that morning he said, "Just Kidding!" He really pissed off the general manager of the station who was going out of his mind listening to Lee's show!Andy Olsonhttp://radiofreephoenix.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454644.post-75717625379229652872015-01-28T18:25:18.724-08:002015-01-28T18:25:18.724-08:00Lee was found dead today in his Vallejo California...Lee was found dead today in his Vallejo California home. His comedic style I would term passive aggressive, and very funny. My Dad and I drove into work together and he pretended not to like the good doctor, but finally had to laugh, though he said (as if to him): "Blow it out your ass!"<br /><br />I Loved Ol' Doc Frail...GunnySackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15371348690575090416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454644.post-11574449282127834232011-03-10T10:47:24.865-08:002011-03-10T10:47:24.865-08:00Found him and we have become good friends!Found him and we have become good friends!Malcolm Gault-Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11227779544145341291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454644.post-64520122602090602332009-07-05T19:11:04.837-07:002009-07-05T19:11:04.837-07:00If you would like to hear some vintage Lee Baby Si...If you would like to hear some vintage Lee Baby Simms, check out his aircheck from 1973 at WWW.Radioloidarity.Blogspot.Com And there are more from 1971 at WWW.Shadoe.ComAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454644.post-2383129881180584822008-06-20T08:38:00.000-07:002008-06-20T08:38:00.000-07:00You might like to listen to some tunes by a band i...You might like to listen to some tunes by a band in Lawrence KS called "The Lee Baby Sims Show."
